The deployment of Capabiliti is designed to automate the agency’s processes of managing student placements through the use of an online portal. It is intended to enhance current business processes by implementing a more efficient system and reduce the burden on administrative staff.

Previously, the agency had a heavily manual process centered on administration staff entering requests and managing requests from tertiary institutions for student placements on a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. As student allotment in the program gradually increased, the spreadsheets became harder to manage and made it more susceptible to errors.

Capabiliti was installed to manage the entire process – from the application of student placements, to the tracking and monitoring of any informational changes and scheduling, and finally for notification, reporting and evaluation processes.

The agency also recently announced that the highly successful deployment of Capabiliti for the online student placement program is currently being evaluated for further improvements and modifications to enhance the user experience and the overall business process.
