Australia's largest Building Society dramatically streamlines Learning Management

Canberra, Australia – 12th April 2010 – Leading Australian software developer, Intelledox Pty Ltd today announced the successful deployment of the Capabiliti® Learning Management System (LMS) at Australia’s largest building society, Heritage Building Society (HBS).

The financial institution that puts “People first” has incorporated the Capabiliti Solution, to meet the needs of their growing client base. With a network of more than 120 outlets and 300,000 members, HBS is one of Australia’s best performing and most highly regarded financial institutions.

Since implementation, Heritage has relied on Capabiliti as the core administrative system to manage and perform all learning and training activities. Capabiliti is incorporated into the development business processes and provides a robust platform for collecting valuable data.

“HBS considered a number of Learning Management Systems and selected Capabiliti as it provided a solution that could best suit our specific business needs. The Capabiliti/Intelledox team was very helpful and performed a particularly complex data migration. This provided us with an extremely smooth transition into the new system” says Heather Timbs, Manager Training and Development at Heritage Building Society.

With Capabiliti, many administrative steps for Heritage are automated. “We now have a system where we don’t have to centralise bookings. It’s an automated process. Capabiliti is easy to use, for everyone.” Heather says.

The Client View module in Capabiliti assists Heritage by providing an easy to use functionality that enables learners to search, register, request and pay for face-to-face or e-learning courses, as well as view their upcoming courses, training history, course evaluations and course tests.

“Capabiliti integrated very well into our workplace. We can import information from other files; it is then integrated to the Intranet and HR system, and is automatically updated” Heather said.
